Compass Jellyfish Pin – Ocean Pin Collection
The Compass Jellyfish Pin by Oceanstore Design reimagines one of the most fascinating jellyfish as a richly detailed jellyfish pin. The exclusive illustration has been crafted into a high-quality soft enamel pin, combining modern design with the graceful beauty of the marine world.
With a diameter of 38 mm , this jellyfish pin is ideal for jackets, bags, backpacks, or other accessories. It’s available either as a classic pin with a butterfly clasp or as a magnetic version that can be worn without piercing the fabric.
About the Compass Jellyfish
The compass jellyfish (Chrysaora hysoscella) is found in the northeastern Atlantic, as well as in the North Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. It owes its name to the distinctive brown, V-shaped markings on its bell, which resemble the rays of a compass rose. It uses its long tentacles to catch plankton, small fish, and crustaceans. Its stinging cells serve both to capture prey and for defense, and can cause painful skin irritation in humans.
