About the Zebra Shark

The Zebra Shark (Stegostoma tigrinum) lives in the tropical waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Adults have a distinctive spotted pattern, while juveniles are distinctly striped—hence their name. Zebra sharks are considered peaceful bottom-dwellers and feed mainly on mollusks, crustaceans, and small fish.
