About the Sunfish

The Moonfish (Mola mola) is the heaviest bony fish in the world and can weigh over two metric tons. With its nearly circular body shape and calm swimming style, it is one of the most unusual inhabitants of the oceans. Sunfish are found in temperate and tropical seas worldwide and feed mainly on jellyfish and other marine invertebrates.
