Sergeant Major Pin – Ocean Pin Collection
The Sergeant Major Pin by Oceanstore Design reimagines one of the most famous reef fish as a richly detailed soft-enamel pin. The exclusive illustration has been expertly crafted and combines modern design with the beauty of the marine world.
With a diameter of 38 mm , the pin is ideal for jackets, bags, backpacks, or other accessories. It is available either as a classic pin with a butterfly clasp or as a magnetic version that can be worn without piercing the fabric.
About the Sergeant Major
The Sergeant Major (Abudefduf saxatilis) lives in tropical coral reefs and coastal waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Its distinctive black horizontal stripes on a body that shimmers yellowish to silvery resemble a sergeant’s rank insignia, which is how it got its name. It often moves in small schools and feeds on algae, plankton, and small invertebrates.
