“El Padre” was once the name of a rum smuggler I knew. He always had a barrel of his best rum reserved for me. In his honor, I created this “Spiced Rum” with his name.
The majority of the rum used comes from the heart of Central America and the Dominican Republic. Its taste is fruity and complex at the same time. Aromas of banana, coconut, peach and orange set the tone on the tongue.
In the glass, “El Padre” shimmers in a strong amber. Perfect as a pure pleasure on ice. But now enough of the sailor’s yarn – raise your glass and drink with me to “El Padre” and his legend.
